We are really proud of all the sports competitions that we take part in. I love them to win but am delighted that they take part and do their absolute best.
Last week, I was proud of our netballers who had a great win against Highfield Primary School. Well done Y5/6!
I love it when pupils visit me, to share their successes.
Reception pupils get very excited about writing new words. This Reception visitor is also a fantastic reader, so was able to read my Headteachers Award, that he received. Well done!
We were really delighted when our hockey team beat 40 others, to represent Leeds in the Yorkshire School Games.
The team played 19 other teams, on Saturday, and came a magnificent 5th!
Miss Wright and Mr Siddiq were full of praise, for the outstanding attitude shown by the players. Well done!
As part of our Remembrance, each class made a poppy.
Nursery brought theirs to share. I think it is beautiful and shows real care and thought. It is on display, with the other class poppies, in the entrance.
I was delighted to share some Science learning with Sophia and Saad. They were very articulate in explaining why they had sorted these materials, in to the categories they had.
I always enjoy visits from children, who are excited about their learning. Well done!
These Year 5 boys were rightly very proud of their handwriting. All have a stylish, cursive script and put me to shame!! I need to start practicing!
Year 2 have been working on their printing techniques. I was very impressed by the way in which they were laid out, in a neat format.
There was not much ink on the children either!
Year 1 were so excited to share with me,all that they had been finding out about Pirates.
I could have created a whole crew, there were so many wonderful Learning Logs to look at!
Well done Year 1!
It is wonderful to be able to share in the learning journey of each child in school. This was particularly exciting…..a first drawing! Well done!
What a bright and vibrant display, to greet us in to the new year.
Thank you to the Reception children who have shared their paintings with us. They do look fabulous….but can you spot the one which is upside down?!
